I am very pleased to announce to our community the addition of Elizabeth Schott to our school district as the new principal of Pine Crest School. Liz Schott is a long-time Sebastopol resident who most recently has been the very successful and respected principal of McDowell Elementary School in Petaluma. Earlier in her administrative career Liz was the principal of Roseland School. From 1994-1999 Liz was a teacher at Apple Blossom School where she taught Title I Reading, a 3-4 combination class and a 5th grade class during her five years in the district. Liz graduated from Santa Clara University with a degree in Psychology in 1979 and earned her Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from St. Mary’s College. Liz is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Educational Leadership at the University of Nevada, Reno.
